Q1. I am currently taking courses offered by the Department of GRM to fulfil the requirements of the proficiency certificates. When should I submit my application?
Answer: Applicants should submit their applications after they have completed the required courses and received the grades.

 

Q2. Is application open throughout the year?
Answer: No. There will be two rounds of applications every year. Applicants may submit their online applications within 6 weeks after the release of grades in Term 1 and Term 2.

 

Q3. Do I need to upload an official copy of my academic transcript as supporting document?
Answer: No. An official copy is not required but applicants need to submit an unofficial copy of their academic transcript which is downloadable from CUSIS.

 

Q4. How will the certificates be delivered to me?
Answer: Digital certificates will be sent to applicants’ campus email addresses once ready.

 

Q5. May I apply for the proficiency certificates if I have already graduated from CUHK?
Answer: No. Only current CUHK students are eligible for applications.

 

Q6. I have declared GRMD as my minor programme. May I apply for the proficiency certificates with the same courses that I used to satisfy my minor requirements?
Answer: Yes. Applications for the certificates will not affect your declaration of minor programme.

 

Q7. May I use the same set of courses to apply for two different proficiency certificates?
Answer: No. Applicants may apply for more than one proficiency certificate but courses would NOT be double counted.
