[Call for Application] CUHK GRM Elite PhD Admission Summer Camp 2026 (11-14 August 2026)
The Department of Geography and Resource Management (GRM) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) will arrange the Elite PhD Admission Summer Camp 2026 on 11-14 August. This four-day workshop aims to attract elite Master’s students or recent Master’s graduates from around the world to pursue doctoral study in our PhD programme.

About the Summer Camp
The summer camp is free of charge and offers complimentary accommodation, travel allowance (up to HK$2,500), and a range of unique opportunities such as:
– Introduction to the GRM PhD Programme and the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme
– Guidance on preparing a strong GRM PhD programme application
– Engagement with GRM faculty members through seminars, presentations, and small‑group discussions
– Networking with Master’s students from around the world
– First‑hand experience of studying at CUHK and living in Hong Kong
Eligibility
We welcome applicants who are:
– Master’s students or recent Master’s graduates in geography, resource management, or related fields
– With strong research potential
– Interested in applying to the GRM PhD programme to be admitted in Fall 2027
