Summary:
This is a specially constituted Panel on Urban Population Dynamics under the Committee on Population, with the mandate to:

1. document current and emerging patterns of urban population growth in developing countries;
   review what is known about the basic demographic relations;
2. review what is known about the likely implications of urban growth;
3. assess the likely implications of future urban growth for the delivery of reproductive health services; and
4. assess the consequences of urban growth for urban labour markets.
