Summary:
The Zhujiang Delta region, including Hong Kong and Macao, has experienced
astonishing growth in recent decades. This will have profound impacts
on the spatial, social and economic structures and the urbanization
process in the region as well as in South China. This project aims
to examine three main issues:
- Spatial economic restructuring in Zhujiang Delta.
- Spatial population change and urbanization in Zhujiang Delta.
- The role and impact of Hong Kong in the development of Zhujiang
Delta.
