Summary:
This project has explored several methods for the place marketing. Especially at the late period of this project, this team has introduced the Internet and interoperability techniques to the development of investment environment information systems. It may be another approach for developing future e-commence (about the relationship between the geo-referenced information flow and the capital flow).

In this project, this research team defined the concept of investment environment, investment environment information, and investment environment information system (IEIS). With a case study, a prototype of the internet based IEIS has been developed by this research team.

This project has also encouraged this research team to explore new methods for spatial information query and 3D visualization in the Internet based environment. Some experiments on web-based virtual reality have been conducted.
