Summary:
The project reviews and evaluates recent developments and changes in Fujian under China' s open policy since 1978. It is a comprehensive attempt to study Fujian' s development across a wide range of subjects. Over 20 scholars in Hong Kong and elsewhere particulate in this project. It is in the same mode of cooperation as recently published studies on Guangdong and Shanghai.
