The Department offers undergraduates a choice of over 40 courses. Students are required to complete a minimum of 66 units of courses in the major programme. Of the courses offered, students must take 13 compulsory (33 units) and 11elective (33 units) courses to major in Geography.

The programme in our department provides a 3-year full-time training to equip students with an understanding of the complex, interdisciplinary nature of human-environment interactions. Building upon a firm foundation of theory and methodology of geography in the first year, students will focus on one or more of the following concentration areas in their second and third years:
